Hyperhydrosis
- Control the excessive sweating -
Short of prescriptions or in extreme cases, a surgery called endoscopic
thoracic sympathectomy (ETS), Maxim is guaranteed to be the most
effective Hyperhydrosis solution over
the counter anti-perspirant on the market, or your money back. Maxim
is a prescription strength deodorant (antiperspirant). Even
with ETS surgery, the success rate for obviating axillary sweating
is only 30%, trust me because I've had the surgery and like any
other surgery, it is not without its side affects (including irreversible
compensatory sweating).
Maxim antiperspirant
is gauranteed to control excessive wetness caused
by Hyperhydrosis- This incredible anti-perspirant roll-on
is a patent-pending aqueous based solution containing an extremely
powerful and safe active ingredient aluminum chloride. It is also
very unique in the way it is applied. Maxim®
is unlike conventional antiperspirants. You apply it at night- time,
before you go to bed. Maxim®
has no odor and is colorless. It does not wash off in water the
next day. Most people find exceptional relief from Maxim®.
Some people require daily applications, and some require only 1-2
applications per week. You may want to apply your normal deodorant
in the morning just for protection against normal odor from bacteria
under the arm pit.

Facial blushing
and hyperhidrosis seam to go hand in hand in a lot of people. Personally,
as one who suffers hyperhidrosis, I have a high-level of catecholemines,
or adrenaline compounds, which include epinephrine, nor-epinephrine
and seretonin. These neurotransmitters can cause blood vessels in
the face to dilate and vessels in the hands and feet to constrict
with the onset of Anxiety. Anxiety naturally leads to sweating and
only compounds hyperhidrosis. The ETS surgery that I have had has
helped with the facial blushing, I must admit. However, I still
sweat from my arm- pits. However, I do get some bad compensatory
sweating from time to time. That's because half of your sweat glands
are located in your palms and the sweat will go somewhere else.
The ETS surgery has also reduced my heart rate and I do not experience
the racing heart that I used to get.
Facial blushing
treatments that are non-surgical should be considered before surgery.
What has worked very well for myself and this required a lot of
research on my behalf was a medication called clonidine. Clonidine
is in a class of drugs called alpha blockers with the brand name
of catepres. It works to stabilize the blood vessels so that they
won't constrict or dilate to any extreme. Clonidine is non-addictive
and is used as an anxielytic drug as well. It can make your mouth
dry and can cause somnolence. Beta blockers also work fairly well
to control racing heart and subsequent flushing episodes.

Anxiety disorders
can also cause one's face, hands and feet to sweat abnormally. MaximTM
can be of much benefit to people who sweat profusely due to anxiety.
